Autoroles and stat channels
A role on join, and the member count in the channel list.
Autoroles
A role given to everybody who joins. Useful for the role your channels are actually visible to, and for separating members from bots.
- 1Make the role and put it below the Arklynn role.
- 2Run /autorole add with it. The prefix form is .autorole, or .ar.
- 3Check with a second account, or wait for the next member and look.
- 4/autorole remove takes it off the list. It does not take the role off the people who already have it.
Do not use autoroles and verification for the same role. Verification exists to hand out a role once somebody has passed; an autorole hands it out on join, which means everybody passes.
Server stats
/setup_stats makes voice channels whose names are numbers - members, bots, boosts - so the count sits in the channel list. Nobody joins them; they are labels.
Discord rate-limits channel renames hard, so these update every few minutes rather than instantly. A count that is two minutes behind is normal and not worth reporting.
Invite tracking
Who invited whom. /invite shows your own numbers, /invitedlist who you brought in, /invitecodes every active code on the server, and /set_invite corrects a count by hand when something went wrong. There is an invite leaderboard too.
From the website
Autoroles, Server Stats and Invite Tracking are three modules in the dashboard. Server Stats has a Refresh counts now button, for when you do not want to wait out the rate limit.
